Devoted. 

Webster defines DEVOTED as having strong love or loyalty for something or someone.  For many years I was devoted to living a life that was pleasing to me.  I enjoyed life so much and living in the world that I was convinced the Church itself would combust if I stepped one foot inside. BUT GOD!

 As years pass and time went by.... I slowly realize that my life and ways were not fulfilling. I then became really sick, and no one seemed to know what was causing it. I went from an active independent woman to living back at home, with my parents and on a walker. All I could and knew to do was call on God. After 2 years, I was finally diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and began to regain my new normal. 

 I thanked God for the diagnosis, but this new normal was definitely a challenge.  I found myself back in church and rediscovering my relationship with God.  I was becoming DEVOTED to God and His Kingdom once again and not the world.  I have to admit life with MS has not been easy, but I remain honest and true, and God has remained faithful.  God has truly provided me with the desires of my heart. I got married and had children, despite the doctors telling me I couldn't.

Over the years, I have always thought I should share my testimony.  However, nothing ever seemed to manifest, until one day I stopped trying to do what I thought He wanted, and I allowed Him to deposit His vision into me.  DEVOTED TO THE KINGDOM was deposited into my mind and heart.  I couldn’t stop thinking about DEVOTED TO THE KINGDOM, the letters DTTK.  I thought this could be just as big or even bigger than WWJD.  How do I make this a household phrase and honor God?  This is a movement, a revival of believers, a philosophy and a way of life.

DEVOTED TO THE KINGDOM is the vessel to speak to those that are "Babes in Christ" up to those "Seasoned Saints". DEVOTED TO THE KINGDOM is for the "Churched" and "Unchurched".  We don't all have the same relationship with God, it all looks different.  But we can all say we are DEVOTED.

 DEVOTED TO THE KINGDOM!!
